A dedicated design team focuses on research and trend spotting to develop complete collections, from fabric R&D; and new applications to innovative washes and finishes.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Junior Merchandiser – Woven role based in Chennai.

The Junior

Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in coordinating woven product development from concept to dispatch, including sampling follow-up, cost sheets, and order execution.

Responsibilities include communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders, tracking timelines, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining documentation related to styles, trims, and fabrics.



The role involves regular interaction with production, quality, and design teams to align buyer requirements with manufacturing capabilities.

The Junior

Merchandiser will also assist with market updates, trend inputs, and basic analysis of order performance to support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Sales and Retail knowledge to understand buyer expectations, pricing, and consumer preferences in woven apparel.
- Basic Marketing awareness to support product positioning, trend alignment, and brand requirements.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple styles and timelines.
- Foundational understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, and apparel production processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with spreadsheets and style trackers.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred; internship or prior experience in apparel merchandising is an advantage.
