Alive House Plans is a residential architectural design company focused on creating thoughtfully designed homes for clients across India and United states. We work on custom residential projects ranging from initial floor planning and 3D design to complete architectural construction drawing sets.

We are looking for a Junior Architect who is technically strong, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a completely remote environment.

Your Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed residential floor plans in AutoCAD.
- Develop architectural drawings based on client requirements and design briefs.
- Prepare complete construction drawing sets, including:
- Floor plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Door and window schedules
- Staircase details
- Toilet and kitchen details
- Working drawings and other architectural details
- Make revisions to drawings based on design and client feedback.
- Create accurate 3D models using SketchUp.
- Coordinate drawings to ensure dimensions and design information remain consistent throughout the drawing set.
- Organise project files and maintain proper drawing standards.
- Work remotely with the design and project team and meet assigned deadlines.

Skills We Are Looking For
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of residential planning and architectural drafting.
- Ability to prepare professional construction/working drawing sets.
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp.
- Understanding of architectural dimensions, levels,



sections and detailing.
- Basic knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Ability to understand design briefs and convert concepts into technically accurate drawings.
- Positive attention to detail and drawing presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote working environment.

Qualification

- B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture / Architectural Assistantship or a related qualification.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and excellent AutoCAD skills are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of residential architecture experience will be preferred.

Work Environment

This is a completely remote job opportunity. You can work from anywhere in India.

Since the position is remote, the candidate should have:

- A reliable computer/laptop capable of running AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Stable internet connection.
- Ability to communicate regularly with the team online.
- Discipline to manage work and deadlines independently.
