Job Summary

We are looking for a Jr. Design & Development Engineer to support our Design & Development team in designing and developing corrugated packaging products as per customer requirements. The candidate should have knowledge of packaging design, corrugated box design, AutoCAD, and packaging development.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify packaging designs as per customer requirements.
- Develop corrugated box designs, layouts, and structural drawings.
- Prepare technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD.
- Understand customer drawings, specifications, dimensions, and packaging requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Sales, and Dispatch teams for design-related requirements.
- Assist in developing new packaging designs and improving existing designs.
- Check dimensions, board specifications, flute combinations, and box construction.
- Prepare design drawings, samples, and technical documents.
- Support trial production and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and cost-effective.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approved designs.




- Coordinate with customers when required for design clarification.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the packaging/corrugated box industry.
- Candidates with experience in other manufacturing/design industries may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of Packaging Design & Development.
- Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of corrugated box design and manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Understanding of packaging dimensions, board specifications, flute types, and box construction.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Good problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience: 2–3 years
- Preferred Industry: Corrugated Packaging / Paper Packaging / FMCG Packaging / Manufacturing / Engineering Design
