Position Overview The Jira Administrator will be responsible for configuring, managing, and optimizing Atlassian Jira and Confluence environments. This role ensures smooth operations, workflow governance, user management, and supports teams across the organization in using Jira effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

- Create, modify, and optimize workflows, screens, field configurations, permission schemes.

- Manage user access, roles, groups, and security settings.

- Build dashboards, filters, and reports using JQL.

- Implement and manage automation rules (native Jira automation, ScriptRunner basics).

- Install, configure, and maintain Marketplace add-ons.

- Support teams with issue configuration, project setup, and troubleshooting.

- Maintain system hygiene: archiving projects, cleaning unused fields, optimizing performance.

- Coordinate upgrades, migrations, and environment changes.

- Ensure compliance with governance standards and best practices.

- Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to streamline processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–6 years of experience as a Jira Administrator.

- Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

- Hands-on experience with workflows, schemes, JQL, dashboards.

- Experience with ScriptRunner (basic scripting preferred).

- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Ability to troubleshoot configuration and permission issues.

- Experience with user management and access control.

- Robust communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Jira Cloud and Data Center environments.

- Knowledge of REST APIs (basic).

- Experience with Bitbucket or other CI/CD tools.

- Atlassian certifications (ACP-120, ACP-600) preferred.





JIRA DEVELOPER – JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Overview The Jira Developer will design and implement advanced customizations, automation, integrations, and plugins within the Atlassian ecosystem. This role requires strong technical expertise, scripting skills, and the ability to build scalable solutions for enterprise-level Jira environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom scripts using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Java, or Python.

- Build and maintain custom Jira plugins and add-ons.

- Create advanced automation workflows beyond native capabilities.

- Integrate Jira with external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware.

- Engineer complex workflow logic, validators, post-functions, and conditions.

- Develop custom dashboards, gadgets, and reporting modules.

- Support large-scale migrations, consolidations, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to streamline processes.

- Troubleshoot complex issues related to automation, integrations, and plugins.

- Maintain documentation for custom solutions and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–8 years of experience as a Jira Developer or Atlassian Engineer.

- Strong experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting).

- Hands-on experience developing Jira plugins using Java.

- Strong understanding of Jira REST APIs and integration patterns.

- Experience with workflow engineering and advanced automation.

- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC processes.

- Experience with Confluence customization and macros.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Jira Data Center and enterprise-scale environments.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab).

- Experience with cloud-to-cloud or server-to-cloud migrations.
