Java Full Stack Developer( Exp- 7+ Years)

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong enterprise application development experience and hands-on exposure to US State Government public assistance programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) or state government programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, or Financial Assistance.

The candidate must be comfortable taking ownership of development work end-to-end and collaborating closely with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Product teams, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibility

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Build and maintain front-end applications using Vue.js.
- Write complex and optimized Oracle SQL queries and support database development.
- Develop and integrate enterprise messaging and queue-based systems.
- Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features and technical deliverables.
- Work closely with BA, QA, Product, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Translate business and eligibility requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Data handling and database integration

Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise messaging technologies:
- JMS
- RabbitMQ
- Apache Kafka
- ActiveMQ

Mandatory Domain Expertise(Must have)

Candidates must have hands-on experience with US State Government public-sector systems, specifically one or more of the following:





- Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES)
- SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
- Medicaid
- TANF – Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
- State Financial Assistance / Public Assistance programs
- Health & Human Services / Social Services systems involving eligibility determination

Experience should include working on applications or systems related to eligibility, benefits determination, enrollment, case management, public assistance, or government benefit administration.

Experience

- Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Robust experience building enterprise applications using Java/Spring Boot.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and complex SQL.
- Experience with enterprise messaging/integration technologies.
- Full-stack development experience including Vue.js.
- Proven experience working with US State Government/public-sector projects.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to independently own development tasks from requirements through delivery.

Communication & Collaboration The candidate should be able to:

- Work effectively with Business Analysts, QA, Product Managers, and engineering teams.
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical issues clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently in a remote environment.
- Take ownership of deliverables and meet project timelines.

Work Schedule

This is a 100% remote position, but the candidate must be available to work during Hawaii Standard Time (HST) business hours.

Candidates must confirm their ability to consistently support the required HST schedule.
