Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring, Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift . The candidate will lead technical development, guide engineering teams, contribute to architecture and design, and ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise applications in a banking/payment environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead development of Java-based Microservices applications.
- Design scalable Microservices and cloud-based solutions.
- Review code and enforce development best practices.
- Mentor and guide developers on technical deliverables.
- Troubleshoot application and deployment issues.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and cloud environments.
- Drive code refactoring, automation, and engineering improvements.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other technical teams.
- Support Agile development and delivery activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions.





Required Skills & Experience

- Strong Java and microservices development experience
- Design skills in Java Microservices, cloud, and UI Frameworks
- Review, mentor, and guide the team for deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and perform deployments
- Expertise in Azure, cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift
- Previous work experience with the Spring framework
- Strong technical development experience in effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices code refactoring
- A delivery-focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
- Experience with various source control tools like GIT
- Good to have hands-on experience with Kafka or any Streaming Technology
- Good to have experience in Splunk, Dynatrace tools
- Experience in Agile Development lifecycle methodology
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
- Configuring and managing software and optimizing processes through automation
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency
- Ability to work in large, cooperative teams to achieve organizational goals
