About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Architect - Java to join our dynamic team at Quantiphi. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise Java applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

You will serve as a key technical resource, engaging with clients to understand their requirements, providing expert guidance on best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will help in maintaining and enhancing our application portfolio, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Java professional to work on cutting-edge projects, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java application development, with extensive experience in enterprise-level solutions. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates should have 7-12 years of relevant experience,



demonstrating proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and API development. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and familiarity with modern tools like Git, Maven, and JFrog is essential. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL) is required.

Additionally, experience with application modernization, including upgrading legacy systems to newer Java versions, will be highly valued. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for a broad range of technical and leadership tasks, including engaging with clients for project briefings, consultations, and project reviews. You will support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise Java applications, ensuring they align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Managing customer demands effectively to maximize satisfaction and uphold quality standards will be a key focus. You will negotiate project specifications, resources, and infrastructure needs, while creating detailed technical documentation. Supervising activities between internal teams and external vendors, facilitating smooth workflow, and ensuring timely delivery are essential aspects of this role.

You will evaluate project data for accuracy, set project targets, and prioritize deliverables.



Mentoring and training team members to elevate their technical skills will be part of your responsibilities. Staying updated with current industry practices and emerging technologies will help enhance service standards.

Reviewing customer technical demands and providing guidance for optimal implementation and maintenance of solutions will be necessary. Additionally, you will carry out research to identify new trends and incorporate innovative solutions to improve project outcomes. Ensuring APIs are robust, maintainable, and aligned with best coding practices will be a continuous focus, along with coordinating efforts across different layers of infrastructure.
