About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a pivotal role responsible for leading the design, development, and modernization of enterprise Java applications. This role involves engaging with clients for project briefing, providing technical consultation, overseeing installation processes, and ensuring successful project close-outs.

The Associate

Architect will support the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Java professionals to work on complex projects, leverage cloud technologies, and contribute to cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer engagement capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java application development and modernization, with 7-12 years of relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Proven expertise in enterprise-level software development, including web applications using J2EE and Spring Boot, is essential.





Candidates should possess hands-on experience with API integration, cloud architecture (preferably AWS), and application security. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, and JFrog is mandatory. A deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, unit testing, and agile development methodologies is required.

Experience with microservices architecture, REST and SOAP APIs, and working with SQL or NoSQL databases is necessary. Knowledge of AWS services, automation tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX), and the ability to deploy and debug cloud applications will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team setting are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for a variety of technical and leadership duties to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include engaging with clients for project briefing, understanding their requirements, and providing expert consultation throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves supporting the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise Java applications, ensuring modernization efforts align with the latest technology standards. The individual will oversee the integration of APIs, manage deployment processes, and ensure the security of applications in cloud environments.

Supervising activities between internal teams and external vendors, facilitating smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality are critical components of the role.

The candidate will evaluate project data for accuracy, set project targets, and prioritize tasks effectively.



Mentoring and training team members to enhance their technical skills and productivity is a key aspect of the role. Staying updated with current industry practices, emerging technologies, and trends is essential to recommend innovative solutions and improve service standards.
