Role Description The IT Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. This full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves leading cross-functional project teams, managing program timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The IT Program Manager will define program roadmaps, track progress against key milestones, and report status to leadership with clear metrics and dashboards.

Responsibilities include driving adherence to governance and quality standards, resolving issues and escalations, supporting resource planning, and promoting continuous improvement in program and project management practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Program Management and Project Management skills for overseeing complex initiatives and coordinating multiple workstreams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing risks, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess robust Information Technology knowledge to understand system architectures,



integration points, and technical constraints.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage program financials, track costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Relevant skills such as stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication (written and verbal) would be highly beneficial.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale IT programs, preferably in consulting or digital transformation environments, would be advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications in program or project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage an assigned portfolio of IT programs and projects, including selected large projects and multiple small to medium projects concurrently.
- Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps, project schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, RAID logs, status reports, decision logs, budget trackers, change request logs, and steering committee materials.
- Coordinate delivery across business, IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Information Security, vendor, and system integrator teams to support effective execution, governance, approvals, compliance, and transition to support.
- Track scope, schedule, budget, forecast, resources, purchase orders, invoices, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, deliverables, and vendor commitments.




- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, executive communication, risk escalation, change control, testing readiness, deployment planning, and transition-to-support activities.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Seven or more years of progressive IT program and project management experience in a manufacturing, multinational, or enterprise systems environment are required. Candidates should have experience managing a portfolio of concurrent technology initiatives, including one or more large projects and multiple small to medium projects at the same time. Strong knowledge of PMO governance, stakeholder communication, project planning, risk and issue management, budget tracking, change control, vendor coordination, testing, deployment planning, and transition to support is required. Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA initiatives is strongly preferred, including implementations, rollouts, upgrades, integrations, process improvement, or business transformation projects. PMP certification, formal project management training, PMO experience, and experience working with global teams, manufacturing business processes, vendor and system integrator delivery models, IT service management, cybersecurity review processes, enterprise reporting tools, global rollouts, or acquisition integration projects are valued.

Travel RequirementOccasional domestic or international travel may be required to support project workshops, vendor meetings, stakeholder alignment, testing, training, deployment, go-live, stabilization, or other project activities.
