About ASI: A Bengaluru based cost engineering firm, running for over 12 years, building our own software platforms, xcPEP and xcPROC, that power cost engineering work across industries. We're also building out our US presence through our American entity, Apex Inc.

The Role: Be the single point of contact for IT at ASI, laptops, network, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, while also helping build out the information security, compliance and AI infrastructure backbone we're investing in next.

What You'll Do

- Set up and support laptops, users and day to day IT issues
- Manage office network, WiFi, printers and vendor coordination
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (users, groups, licenses, access, onboarding/offboarding)
- Help document IT policies and controls for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and track compliance tasks
- Set up and streamline AI tools and infrastructure as we adopt them across the team
- Manage IT asset inventory, licenses and renewals

Research Ability & Learning Aptitude

This role will keep changing shape as we grow into compliance and AI tooling.



We need someone who can pick up a recent framework, tool or standard on their own, read the documentation, test it, and bring back a working setup, not just a summary. If you enjoy figuring things out before asking, this will suit you well.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Electronics or related field
- 2-4 years in IT admin, desktop support or networking
- Working knowledge of Windows admin, Microsoft 365, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Working knowledge of Entra ID, or aptitude to learn it fast
- Strong logical reasoning and clear communication, this matters more to us than years of experience
- Comfortable researching unfamiliar tools and standards independently, and learning quickly

Growth Path: Start by owning IT end to end. Within a year, work directly with the founder on ASI's SOC 2 and ISO 27001 journey and on setting up our AI infrastructure, a rare hands-on exposure this early in a career, with a natural path towards an IT Manager or Information Security Manager role as ASI scales across India and with global clients across US and EU.
