Shift Timings: (10:15 AM to 7:45 PM & 12:30 PM to 9:45 PM)
Job Summary The Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining stock integrity, and supporting smooth store operations. The role involves monitoring inventory movements, conducting stock audits, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and minimizing inventory discrepancies while ensuring product availability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy at all times.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation.
Conduct cycle counts and support periodic physical inventory audits.
Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, and excess stock.
Monitor inward and outward stock movements and ensure timely system updates.
Coordinate with the warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams for stock transfers and replenishment.
Ensure all GRNs, stock transfers, RTVs, and inventory transactions are processed accurately.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and ageing inventory and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with inventory SOPs and company policies.
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory-related activities.
Support store operations during product launches, promotions,
and inventory counts.
Generate and share inventory reports with the Store Manager and Regional Operations team.
Ensure high standards of stock organization, storage, and security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in inventory management or retail operations.
Experience in electronics or large-format retail is preferred.
Required Skills
Solid inventory management and analytical skills.
Positive knowledge of inventory control processes and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
