Role Description The International Patient Relation Manager – Bangladesh Patient is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for managing and enhancing the experience of patients traveling from Bangladesh for treatment. This role involves coordinating patient inquiries, explaining available medical services, facilitating appointment scheduling, and supporting patients with admission, discharge, and follow-up processes. The manager will assist with documentation, cost estimates, and payment coordination, while liaising with clinical teams, finance, and external partners such as referral agencies.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining clear communication with patients and families in their preferred language, addressing service-related concerns,
and ensuring that all interactions align with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. The role also includes tracking patient feedback, identifying opportunities to improve services for international patients, and supporting outreach or patient education initiatives targeting the Bangladesh community.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with international patients, families, and clinical teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret patient needs, review reports, and support data-driven improvements in patient services.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to manage estimates, payments, and billing queries related to international patient care.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support patient acquisition, build trusting relationships with referral sources, and promote hospital services ethically.
- Additional qualifications such as experience in hospital or healthcare administration, familiarity with international patient coordination, and proficiency in English and Bengali (spoken and written) are highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, is preferred.
