Role Description The Interior Site Engineer role at Orange Elephant Interiors is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Interior Site

Engineer oversees daily site activities, coordinates with project managers, contractors, and vendors, and ensures interior works are executed as per drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include supervising civil and interior fit-out work, monitoring quality standards, inspecting materials and workmanship, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements. The role also involves resolving site-related issues, preparing progress reports,



and supporting project timelines and budget controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong in office supervision skills, with experience managing day-to-day interior and civil activities at project locations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, and to document site progress clearly.
- Candidates should possess quality control capabilities, including monitoring workmanship, verifying materials, and ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess a foundation in structural engineering or be trained as civil engineers, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in site measurement, basic project documentation, and familiarity with interior fit-out materials and methods is beneficial.
