Role Description The Interior Purchase Head is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities related to interior contracting projects. This role oversees vendor sourcing, negotiation, and selection for materials, fixtures, and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

The Interior Purchase

Head will create and manage purchase plans aligned with project schedules, coordinate closely with design, project management, and site execution teams, and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and inventory. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance,



monitoring market trends and pricing, optimizing stock levels, and resolving any material-related issues that may impact project progress. The role also involves implementing procurement best practices, maintaining compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor identification, negotiation, and contract management.
- Candidates should possess skills in inventory control, material planning, and cost optimization for interior projects.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of interior materials, finishes, fixtures, and related technical specifications used in commercial and corporate fit-outs.
- Candidates should possess project coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with design, site, and finance teams to align purchases with timelines and budgets.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using MS Excel and procurement or ERP tools, along with basic documentation and reporting skills.
- Relevant experience (typically 5–8+ years) in interior contracting, construction, or fit-out procurement at a supervisory or managerial level.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Civil/Interior Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, vendor relationship management, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
