Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Integration Lead with 4–5 years of experience in application and system integrations, along with good working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and hospital management workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting integrations between the HIS application and internal/external systems. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, JSON and MongoDB, along with a good understanding of healthcare application workflows and data exchange.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead application and system integration activities.
- Design and develop REST API-based integrations.
- Develop and maintain Node.js/Express.js APIs and integration services.
- Understand third-party API specifications and implement integration requirements.
- Design request/response mapping and data transformation.
- Work with JSON, REST, HTTP/HTTPS and API authentication mechanisms.
- Implement and manage integrations such as:
- REST APIs
- Webhooks
- Request/Response integrations
- Data synchronization
- Implement authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth or API keys.
- Troubleshoot API failures, data mismatches, timeout issues and integration failures.
- Analyse application logs and database records to identify integration issues.
- Monitor integration transactions and identify failures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal application teams.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Review integration code and ensure coding standards are followed.
- Prepare and maintain API and integration documentation.
- Support application deployment and release activities.




- Participate in production support and incident resolution.
- Provide technical guidance to developers working on integration tasks.
- Work closely with Application Leads and QA teams during development and release cycles.

HIS / Healthcare Domain Responsibilities
- Understand common Hospital Information System (HIS) workflows.
- Understand data flow between different hospital modules and external systems.
- Have knowledge of:
- Patient Registration
- Patient Master
- Appointment Management
- OPD
- IPD
- Admission / Transfer / Discharge
- Doctor and Nursing workflows
- Billing and Payments
- Laboratory / Diagnostics
- Pharmacy
- Medical Records
- Insurance / TPA
- Understand integration requirements involving patient, appointment, clinical and billing data.
- Understand healthcare data security, privacy and access-control requirements.
- Analyse integration issues from both a technical and hospital-workflow perspective.

Required Technical Skills
- 4–5 years of relevant software/integration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Web Services.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of JSON, HTTP/HTTPS and API authentication.
- Good experience with MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Angular/MEAN Stack.
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Experience with Git.
- Positive debugging and log-analysis skills.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Mandatory: Working knowledge of HIS / Hospital Management System.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
