Role Description The Insurance Advisor role at LIC is a full-time hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with some flexibility for work from home.

The Insurance

Advisor will identify prospective clients, understand their financial protection and investment needs, and recommend suitable LIC insurance and pension products. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients in person or virtually, explaining policy features and perks, preparing proposals and documentation, and assisting clients throughout the policy lifecycle. The role involves regular follow-up,



maintaining client relationships, providing after-sales service, and supporting claim and policy servicing processes.

Insurance

Advisors collaborate with branch teams, participate in training and product updates, and work towards achieving individual and team sales targets in a compliant and customer-centric manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge or interest in Insurance and Finance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Consulting and Customer Service for client-focused advisory work.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should ideally have basic numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail in documentation.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person and remote client interactions.
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or insurance advisory is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to undergo LIC’s training and certification processes and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
