Role Description The Inspection Engineer role at GLOBAL CERTIFICATION SOLUTIONS (GCS) is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves planning and conducting product inspections, verifying compliance with relevant standards, and documenting findings in explicit technical reports.

The Inspection

Engineer will coordinate with clients to understand product specifications, perform quality checks, and support testing activities as required. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams on certification and audit processes, identifying non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining accurate inspection records.



The successful candidate will follow established procedures and safety guidelines while contributing to continuous improvement in inspection and quality control practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Inspection skills for assessing product conformity and identifying non-conformities.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills to evaluate electrical products and systems against applicable standards.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to assess mechanical components, assemblies, and equipment performance.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills for planning, executing, and documenting product tests in line with regulatory and client requirements.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) and experience in industrial inspection or certification environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, and to prepare clear, detailed inspection reports.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on-site with clients and cross-functional teams in Mumbai.
