Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Informatica CAI Developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable integration solutions using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The role focuses on integrating enterprise applications, cloud platforms, on-premise systems, data warehouses, and third-party APIs, working closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

Build and maintain API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, on‑prem systems, data warehouses, and third-party services.

Create and configure CAI processes, connections, mappings, workflows, and error-handling logic.

Work with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical designs.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, optimize performance, and implement monitoring and alerting.

Support integration testing, CI/CD deployments, and cutover/rollback planning for releases.

Produce and maintain technical documentation: integration designs, API specs, data mappings, and operational runbooks.





Collaborate with data engineers, application teams, and architects to ensure end-to-end integration quality and data integrity.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software or integration development, with hands-on Informatica CAI development experience.

Proven experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs, and applying API-based integration patterns.

Experience integrating with at least one of: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce Data Cloud, Veeva Vault CRM, or cloud/on‑prem data warehouses.

Solid SQL skills and solid understanding of relational databases and data formats (JSON, XML).

Familiarity with integration protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) and common authentication methods.

Experience implementing error handling, logging, monitoring, and operational support for integrations.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Informatica certifications related to Cloud Application Integration / IDMC.

Experience integrating with Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, or AWS data platforms.

Familiarity with Veeva Vault integrations and Salesforce APIs.

Knowledge of API security mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys) and enterprise security best practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile development practices.
