Role Description The Incubation & Entrepreneurship Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, responsible for leading the college’s incubation initiatives and entrepreneurship programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and mentoring student and faculty startup ideas, coordinating incubation activities, and managing the operations of the incubation center. The role involves organizing workshops, hackathons, and networking events with industry experts, investors, and alumni to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The manager will support teams with business model development, pitch preparation, funding applications, and connections to external incubators and accelerators.



Additional responsibilities include maintaining documentation, preparing reports for institutional and regulatory bodies, and collaborating with academic departments to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship into the curriculum.

Qualifications

- Background in entrepreneurship support and incubation management, including experience working with startups, innovation labs, or incubation centers.
- Strong skills in mentoring, business planning, and startup ecosystem development, with the ability to guide teams on market validation, funding, and growth strategies.
- Experience organizing programs such as workshops, bootcamps, competitions, and industry networking events focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with industry, investors, government agencies, and other educational institutions for startup collaboration and support.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, and external partners.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools for program management, communication, and tracking incubation outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; prior experience in an academic or research environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for fostering innovation, student entrepreneurship, and community development, with a proactive and collaborative work style.
