Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end customs clearance activities for import shipments.
- Ensure accurate HSN classification and compliance with applicable customs regulations.
- Handle DPD (Direct Port Delivery) processes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage Bill of Entry (BOE) filing, verification, and documentation.
- Handle IGCR compliance, including documentation and record maintenance.
- Manage bonded warehouse activities and ensure proper compliance.
- Monitor and manage customs duty, including duty calculation, payment, and optimization opportunities.
- Support and coordinate customs audits, ensuring timely submission of required documents and records.
- Handle legal cases and notices related to customs and trade compliance.
- Manage and coordinate with freight forwarders and Customs House Agents (CHA)



for smooth shipment clearance.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of import documentation as per statutory and company requirements.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to imports, customs clearance, duty, and shipment status.
- Utilize Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, tracking, and process monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs laws, regulations, and internal trade compliance procedures.
- Identify opportunities for improving customs clearance processes, reducing costs, and ensuring timely clearance of shipments.
