Role Description This full-time IBM Netezza Performance Server as a Service Administrator role is based on-site in Hyderabad. The administrator will be responsible for managing, configuring, and monitoring IBM Netezza Performance Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Daily tasks include administering databases, performing capacity planning, implementing backup and recovery procedures, applying patches and upgrades, and troubleshooting system and query performance issues.

The role also involves collaborating with data engineering, BI, and application teams to optimize workloads, support deployments, and maintain documentation and compliance standards.

Qualifications





- Strong proficiency in administering IBM Netezza Performance Server (or IBM Integrated Analytics System), including installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database administration concepts such as backup and recovery, user and role management, security policies, capacity planning, and high-availability setups.
- Hands-on skills in SQL scripting, query optimization, workload management, and analyzing execution plans for large-scale data and analytics environments.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, shell scripting, system monitoring tools, and troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and integration with BI and analytics tools in enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures and operational best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a structured, in office setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in databases, data warehousing, or IBM technologies are an advantage.
- Prior experience in supporting production-grade data platforms in large organizations or Global Captive Centers is highly beneficial.
