Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hydraulic Fitter role based in Raigarh.

The Hydraulic

Fitter will install, assemble, and maintain hydraulic systems and components on industrial equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics on hydraulic circuits, replacing or repairing faulty hoses, pumps, valves, and cylinders, and conducting preventive maintenance activities.



The role involves using appropriate tools and testing equipment, adhering to safety and compliance standards, maintaining accurate service records, and coordinating with supervisors and other maintenance team members to minimize equipment downtime.

The Hydraulic

Fitter will also support shutdown maintenance, participate in inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Solid hydraulic system skills, including installation, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of hoses, valves, pumps, cylinders, and related components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspection, testing, and condition monitoring of hydraulic equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment relevant to hydraulic fitting.
- Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices for working with pressurized systems and industrial environments.
- Relevant technical qualification such as ITI, diploma, or vocational training in Mechanical, Fitter, or related trade.
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment, steel, power, or similar sectors is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, manage time effectively, and maintain clear documentation of work performed.
