HR Manager

Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work from Office

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Experience: 2–5 years

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, people-focused, and hands-on HR Manager who can take ownership of the complete employee lifecycle and help us build a strong, stable, and high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, attendance, performance coordination, employee engagement, HR policies, employee relations, and HR operations .

This role requires someone who is comfortable working closely with employees, team leaders, department heads, and management, and who can proactively identify and resolve people-related issues.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles across the organization.
- Understand hiring requirements from department heads and management.
- Prepare and post job descriptions on relevant hiring platforms.
- Source, screen, shortlist, and coordinate interviews with candidates.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and assess candidates for role and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview rounds with relevant managers.
- Handle salary discussions, offer letters, documentation, and joining formalities.
- Maintain an updated candidate database and hiring pipeline.
- Ensure open positions are closed within the required timelines.
- Build and maintain a reliable talent pipeline for recurring roles.

1. Employee Onboarding & Induction

- Ensure a smooth and professional onboarding experience for new employees.
- Complete joining documentation and HR formalities.
- Introduce employees to company policies, processes, culture, and workplace expectations.
- Coordinate employee induction and training schedules.
- Ensure employees understand their roles, reporting structure, and responsibilities.
- Track new employees during their initial months and identify early concerns.

1. Employee Retention & Engagement

- Build a positive and healthy workplace culture.
- Regularly interact with employees and understand their concerns.
- Identify employee dissatisfaction and retention risks at an early stage.
- Work with managers to resolve employee-related issues.
- Conduct employee engagement initiatives and team activities.
- Monitor employee morale and overall satisfaction.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee retention and reduce unnecessary attrition.
- Understand reasons for employee exits and recommend corrective actions.

1. Employee Relations & Grievance Management

- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns.




- Listen to employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially.
- Mediate employee-manager issues where required.
- Maintain a fair and professional approach while resolving conflicts.
- Escalate serious or sensitive matters to management appropriately.

1. Attendance & Leave Management

- Maintain accurate employee attendance records.
- Monitor late coming, absenteeism, leave patterns, and irregular attendance.
- Manage leave requests and coordinate approvals with reporting managers.
- Prepare regular attendance and leave reports.
- Identify recurring attendance issues and discuss corrective actions with managers.
- Ensure adherence to company attendance and leave policies.

1. Performance & Probation Management

- Coordinate employee probation tracking and confirmation processes.
- Maintain records of probation periods and confirmation status.
- Work with managers to track employee performance during probation.
- Support managers in addressing performance-related concerns.
- Coordinate performance reviews and feedback processes.
- Maintain documentation related to performance discussions and corrective actions.
- Help managers communicate expectations and improvement plans professionally.

1. Employee Discipline & Policy Compliance

- Ensure employees understand and follow company HR policies.
- Maintain records of warnings, disciplinary actions, and performance-related discussions.
- Handle disciplinary matters fairly and consistently.
- Support managers in dealing with behavioral or policy-related issues.
- Ensure HR policies are implemented consistently across teams.
- Recommend improvements to policies based on recurring employee issues.

1. HR Policies & Processes

- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and SOPs.
- Maintain employee handbooks, HR guidelines, and internal processes.
- Ensure employees are aware of important company policies.
- Continuously improve HR processes as the organization grows.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date.

1. Employee Exit & Attrition Management

- Manage employee resignation and exit processes.




- Conduct exit interviews and document feedback.
- Understand key reasons for employee attrition.
- Identify recurring patterns in employee exits.
- Share actionable insights with management to improve retention.
- Ensure proper completion of exit documentation and clearance processes.

1. HR MIS & Reporting

Prepare and maintain regular HR reports covering:
- Total headcount
- New hires
- Attrition
- Employee retention
- Attendance
- Absenteeism
- Late coming
- Leave
- Open positions
- Hiring pipeline
- Recruitment performance
- Probation and confirmation status
- Employee grievances
- Performance and disciplinary issues
- Exit interview insights

- Robust in Excel/Google Sheets and basic HR reporting.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organization.
- Capable of balancing employee needs with business requirements.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in D2C, sales, telecalling, e-commerce, startups, or fast-growing companies will be preferred.

Experience managing a large or fast-growing employee base will be an added advantage.

Reports To: Founder / Management

Works Closely With: Team Leaders, Department Heads, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Management.

Role Objective The primary objective of this role is to build, retain, and develop a strong team while ensuring that all HR processes are handled efficiently and professionally.

- The HR Manager will serve as the go-to person for employees and management for HR, people, employee relations, and organizational matters , while helping the company build a disciplined, productive, and positive work culture.
