Role Purpose To manage and execute end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, apprenticeship and contract labour management, employee engagement, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, performance management, HR operations, and employee relations to ensure smooth HR processes and a compliant, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment

- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates for all functions.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Maintain candidate pipelines, track hiring metrics, and ensure timely closure of positions.

2. Apprenticeship Management

- Manage all apprenticeship programs including NAPS, NATS, and company-specific apprentice schemes.
- Coordinate with training partners, government portals, and institutes for enrolment and compliance.
- Maintain apprenticeship MIS, documentation, and audit compliance.

3. Contract Labour Management

- Coordinate with manpower contractors for deployment, attendance, onboarding, and statutory compliance.
- Verify wage sheets, ESI/PF remittance, licence renewals, and monthly compliance documents.
- Ensure adherence to CLRA norms and support in audits and inspections.

4. Onboarding & Induction

- Facilitate pre-joining and joining formalities.
- Conduct induction programs covering company policies, safety, quality systems, and job-specific orientation.
- Coordinate seat allocation, IT access, ID cards, and onboarding checklist closure.

5. Employee Engagement & Communication





- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations.
- Support internal communication initiatives and address employee queries.
- Implement welfare activities to improve employee morale.

6. Statutory Compliance

- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws including PF, ESI, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Factories Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, Contract Labour Regulations, Apprentices Act, and other central/state statutory requirements.
- Manage labour licences, renewals, contractor documentation, inspection readiness, and compliance submissions.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, wage registers, muster rolls, inspection reports, and compliance trackers as per legal guidelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory accuracy and timely filings.
- Support internal/external audits and ensure closure of compliance gaps.

7. Payroll Coordination

- Consolidate and verify payroll inputs such as attendance, OT, shift allowance, current joiners, and exits.
- Coordinate with payroll/finance teams for timely and accurate salary processing.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries.

HR Operations & Documentation

- Maintain personal files, HRIS/ERP updates, employee databases, and HR records.
- Prepare HR letters including offers, confirmations, transfers, and separation documents.
- Manage leave and attendance systems, shift rosters, and employee lifecycle documentation.

9. Performance Management

- Support the execution of performance appraisal cycles.
- Coordinate with managers and employees for timely completion of reviews and goal-setting.

10. Training & Development Coordination

- Assist in identifying training needs and arranging internal/external training programs.
- Maintain training attendance, feedback, and documentation in coordination with the L&D; team.

11. Employee Relations

- Address employee grievances and support disciplinary processes.
- Promote a positive, safe, and compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBA / MSW / Postgraduate in HR or related field.
- 8 to 13 years of HR Generalist experience in manufacturing, electronics, or EMS industry.
- Experience in apprenticeship management, statutory compliance, contract labour handling, recruitment, and HR operations.

Skills Required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance, apprenticeship frameworks, and labour laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/ERP systems.
- Coordination, multitasking, and stakeholder management abilities.

Problem-solving, confidentiality, and people-handling skills.
