Key Responsibilities

A. Recruitment &

- Manpower Planning

- Assess staffing requirements in consultation with department heads.

- Prepare manpower plans and recruitment schedules.

- Develop and update job descriptions for hospital positions.

- Source, screen, interview, and select suitable candidates.

- Verify qualifications, experience, references, and professional registrations where applicable.

- Coordinate joining formalities and employee induction.

B.

Employee

Records &

- HR Administration

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.

- Maintain records of qualifications, experience, identification documents, licenses, and other required credentials.

- Manage employee attendance, leave, shifts, transfers, promotions, and resignations.

- Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, experience certificates, and other HR documents.

- Ensure HR records are updated and properly maintained.

C. Attendance, Leave &

- Payroll Coordination

- Monitor daily attendance, late coming, absenteeism, overtime, and shift schedules.

- Administer leave policies and maintain leave records.

- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the accounts/payroll department.

- Verify salary-related changes, deductions, incentives, and overtime information.

D.

Employee

Relations

- Address employee grievances, complaints, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.

- Promote positive employee relations and professional workplace behaviour.

- Conduct employee counselling when required.

- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters.

- Support management in disciplinary procedures in accordance with hospital policy and applicable law.

E. Training &

- Development

- Identify training needs in consultation with department heads.

- Organize induction and orientation programmes for recent employees.

- Coordinate training on hospital policies, patient safety, infection control, fire safety, emergency procedures, workplace conduct, and other relevant topics.

- Maintain training attendance and competency records.

- Support continuous career development of employees.

F.

Performance

Management

- Coordinate employee performance appraisal processes.





- Establish and monitor performance goals/KPIs in consultation with department heads.

- Identify performance gaps and coordinate improvement plans.

- Support promotions, increments, transfers, and career development based on performance and organizational requirements.

G. Hospital HR Compliance

- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and hospital policies.

- Maintain required statutory and employee records.

- Coordinate with management regarding applicable labour-law and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure professional licenses and registrations of relevant clinical staff are monitored and renewed as required.

H.

Employee

Welfare &

- Engagement

- Develop employee welfare initiatives and engagement activities.

- Promote a safe, respectful, and professional working environment.

- Coordinate employee communication and HR meetings.

- Support initiatives related to employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.

I. Policy &

- Process Management

- Develop, implement, and periodically review HR policies and procedures.

- Ensure employees understand hospital rules, policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures.

- Maintain HR SOPs and ensure consistent implementation across departments.

- Assist management in organizational restructuring and workforce planning when required.

J. Coordination &

- Reporting

- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, administration, finance, operations, and support departments.

- Prepare regular HR reports covering manpower, recruitment, turnover, attendance, absenteeism, training, and other HR indicators.

- Participate in management meetings and provide HR-related recommendations.

- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and organizational information.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely recruitment and fulfilment of approved vacancies.

- Employee retention and turnover rate.





- Attendance and absenteeism management.

- Timely completion of performance appraisals.

- Training completion and employee competency records.

- Accuracy and completeness of personnel records.

- Employee grievance resolution time.

- Compliance with HR policies and applicable regulations.

- Timely submission of payroll and HR reports.

- Employee satisfaction and engagement.

Qualification

- Essential: MBA/PG Diploma in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, or equivalent.

- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with relevant HR qualification.

- Knowledge of hospital/healthcare HR practices is preferred.

Experience

- Preferred: 5–8 years of HR experience, with relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare organization.

- Experience in managing clinical and non-clinical hospital manpower will be an advantage.

Authority &

- Accountability The Human Resource Manager is accountable for the effective implementation of HR policies, proper maintenance of employee records, timely recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, performance management, and HR compliance. The position works closely with hospital management and department heads to ensure adequate and competent staffing for uninterrupted hospital operations.

Working Conditions

- Full-time hospital-based position.

- May require extended working hours during recruitment drives, audits, emergencies, or other operational requirements.

- May be required to coordinate HR matters across multiple shifts and departments.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
