A Cafe Helper supports daily café operations by preparing food/beverages, ensuring high cleanliness standards, restocking inventory, and delivering friendly customer service.

Key duties include cleaning tables, washing dishes, operating equipment like coffee machines, and assisting with orders to maintain a smooth, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, take orders, process payments via POS/cash register, and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Food & Beverage Prep: Assist in preparing simple drinks, sandwiches, and pastries, and assist with plating.

- Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms; mop floors, clean counters, and wash dishes, cutlery, and equipment.

- Stock & Organization: Restock food items, ingredients, napkins, and cutlery; organize storage areas.

- Operational Support: Clear tables quickly, assist baristas/cooks,



and help with opening or closing procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Ability to Multi-task: Ability to manage cleaning, serving, and prep work in a quick-paced environment.

- Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and interact with customers.

- Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and lifting or moving supplies.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work diverse shifts, including weekends.

Typical Requirements

While prior restaurant or cafe experience is preferred, many positions are open to freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
