Role Description The Health Safety Environment Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Koppal, Bijapur, and gadag. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures across solar, wind, and thermal project sites. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits; identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions; and ensuring compliance with local, national, and industry safety and environmental regulations.

The role involves preparing incident reports, maintaining HSE documentation, and supporting emergency response planning. The engineer will also train site staff on HSE standards, promote a safety-first culture,



collaborate with project managers and contractors, and continuously improve HSE practices to support sustainable project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to design and implement effective safety programs.
- Hands-on experience in Workplace Health and Safety (EHS), including compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles, risk assessment methodologies, and accident prevention techniques.
- Ability to deliver clear, practical Training sessions on HSE practices for diverse site teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health, or a related field; relevant HSE certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in the energy sector (solar, wind, or thermal) or large industrial projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in dynamic and fast-paced project environments.
