About the RoleD.K. Industries is an established manufacturer with over 20 years of experience in Henna and Hair Colour products. As part of our expansion, we are establishing a new manufacturing facility for multiple Cosmetics, Hair Care, Skin Care and Personal Care categories.

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on R&D; / NPD professional who can lead formulation development and help establish a broad commercial product portfolio for our third-party/private-label manufacturing business.

Experience in every category is NOT mandatory. We are looking for a strong formulation professional with broad experience across major cosmetic formulation technologies and the capability to develop additional categories.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new cosmetic and personal-care formulations.
- Build a commercially viable formulation/product library for third-party manufacturing.
- Develop and customize formulations according to customer briefs, benchmarks and target costing.
- Conduct laboratory trials and product optimization.
- Handle pilot batches and scale-up of formulations.
- Supervise initial commercial production and troubleshoot scale-up issues.
- Develop manufacturing processes and technical SOPs.
- Coordinate with QC, Purchase, Production, Packaging and Management.
- Evaluate raw materials and work with ingredient suppliers/application laboratories.




- Support customer sample development and technical discussions where required.
- Maintain complete formulation, trial, stability and manufacturing documentation.
- Support technology transfer as the production team expands.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Preferably 15+ years of relevant experience in Cosmetics / Personal Care / Hair Care / Hair Colour formulation and NPD.
- Strong hands-on formulation experience is essential.
- Experience with emulsions, surfactant-based products and/or hair colour systems is highly desirable.
- Must have experience taking formulations from laboratory trials to commercial-scale manufacturing.
- Experience with a third-party/private-label cosmetics manufacturer will be strongly preferred.
- Practical manufacturing and scale-up experience is more important than designation.
- Candidate should be comfortable working hands-on in the laboratory and supervising initial production batches.
