We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of SEO & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to lead our organic growth initiatives across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in traditional SEO along with strong understanding of emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practices for AI search ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and AI-powered search experiences.

This role requires a data-driven leader who can develop and execute scalable SEO and GEO strategies to improve brand visibility, website traffic, content discoverability, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Lead technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and content optimization initiatives.
- Monitor and improve website health, crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals.
- Build scalable SEO processes and frameworks across multiple business verticals.
- Manage SEO roadmaps, KPIs, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

- Develop strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search and generative platforms.
- Optimize content for AI-generated search responses and conversational discovery.
- Monitor how AI engines interpret, summarize, and recommend brand content.
- Implement structured data, semantic SEO, entity optimization, and knowledge graph strategies.
- Work on AI-search visibility across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Identify opportunities for citation optimization, topical authority building, and AI content discoverability

Content & Growth

- Collaborate with content, product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive organic growth.




- Build SEO and GEO-focused content strategies aligned with user intent and business goals.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
- Drive high-quality backlink acquisition and digital PR initiatives.

Analytics & Performance

- Track SEO and GEO performance metrics using analytics and reporting tools.
- Analyze ranking trends, traffic behavior, user engagement, and AI visibility performance.
- Generate actionable insights and present reports to leadership stakeholders.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor SEO specialists, content strategists, and outreach teams.
- Build a high-performance organic growth team with transparent goals and accountability.
- Stay updated with latest SEO, AI search, and algorithm trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

- 10-12 years of hands-on experience in SEO and organic growth.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO concepts and implementation.
- Proven expertise in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, etc.
- Experience in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-search optimization strategies.
- Strong knowledge of semantic search, structured data, schema markup, and entity SEO.
- Understanding of AI-driven search ecosystems and large language model discovery behavior.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling large-scale enterprise websites or multi-domain SEO.
- Knowledge of automation tools, or AI-assisted SEO workflows is a plus.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, IT services, eCommerce, or digital platforms preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving AI-search trends and algorithms.
