Company Description Elemental Fixtures delivers end-to-end retail design solutions for many of India’s leading retail brands and creates bespoke furniture and fixtures for healthcare, education, corporate, and residential spaces. Elemental operates three specialized manufacturing units for metal, and powder coating, equipped with advanced machinery and tools.

Role Description The Purchase Head is a full time, in office role based in Jigani, Bangalore. responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement function for materials, components, and services required for furniture and fixture manufacturing. The role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, vendor selection and evaluation, negotiation of pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials in line with project schedules.

The Purchase

Head will collaborate closely with production, design, and project management teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and prevent supply disruptions. Daily responsibilities include monitoring purchase orders, reviewing procurement reports, resolving supplier issues, and ensuring adherence to budget, compliance, and company standards. The role also requires continuous improvement of procurement processes, identification of cost-saving opportunities,



and building long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing management skills, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience in inventory planning, materials management, and supply chain coordination within manufacturing or fabrication environments.
- Ability to analyze costs, prepare purchase budgets, and use data-driven decision-making for optimizing procurement efficiency.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement-related software; comfort working with digital workflows and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of furniture, fixtures, millwork, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing processes is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in purchasing or logistics are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior purchasing or supply chain role, preferably in furniture, retail fixtures, or industrial manufacturing.
