About the Role

Note: While this role is being posted under Elemental, you'll actually be hired for and working with Rising Tide, our parent company. Elemental is one of the businesses under the Rising Tide umbrella, and this role sits at the parent level, overseeing/supporting finance across the group.

We're looking for a Head of Accounts to take full ownership of the company's accounting and finance function. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who can operate independently while working closely with the leadership team on financial strategy, compliance, and controls.

A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with strong hands-on experience but no CA are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company

Manage bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and the general ledger
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital requirements
- Ensure timely statutory compliance — GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks,



and other external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes
- Monitor expenses, flag discrepancies, and drive effective cost control
- Support leadership with financial analysis and insights for business decisions
- Track receivables, payables, and outstanding payments
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly book closures
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency

Who We're Looking For

- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- CA qualification preferred; candidates with strong equivalent experience will also be considered
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Experience with accounting/ERP software and strong Excel proficiency
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable owning the finance function independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
