Designation: Head of CSR Partnerships & Institutional Fundraising
Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), MBA in Development Management/CSR, or Post Graduate Diploma in NGO Management
Experience: 6 to 10+ years in institutional fundraising, CSR partnership management, or corporate donor relations within education/social sectors.
Mandatory Expertise: Deep understanding of Section 135 (Companies Act), Schedule VII education guidelines, Form CSR-1, 12A/80G compliance, and corporate budget cycles (Jan–March allocations).
Network: Pre-existing relationships with CSR committees, corporate foundations, and HR/ESG heads in Pune, Mumbai, and national corporate networks.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Corporate Pipeline & Pitching:
- Map, target, and pitch to corporate CSR heads, corporate foundations, and HNIs—focusing heavily on industrial and IT hubs in Pune, Mumbai, and broader Maharashtra.
- Conceptualize customized, high-impact proposals aligned with corporate CSR themes (e.g., Digital Classrooms, Scholarships for Underprivileged, School Infrastructure Improvement).
Grant Proposal & Documentation:
- Draft comprehensive grant proposals, project budgets, logical frameworks, and financial projections for CSR funding applications.
- Ensure all prerequisite regulatory clearances (Form CSR-1 registration, 80G certificates, 3-year audit reports) are continuously up-to-date and presented during donor due diligence.
CSR Grant Execution & Compliance:
- Draft and negotiate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) terms with corporate donors.
- Ensure strict compliance with donor-mandated financial spending, utilization certificates (UC), and audit timelines.
Impact Measurement & Reporting:
- Set up Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E;)
systems to track the tangible social impact of funded programs.
- Create periodic quarterly/annual Impact Reports and financial utilization statements for corporate boards and their CSR committees.
Donor Relationship Management:
- Organize site visits, inauguration ceremonies, and volunteering activities for corporate donor teams at school campuses to build high-trust, multi-year funding commitments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Fundraising Target: Total CSR funds secured per financial year (e.g., ₹1 Cr – ₹3 Cr+ annually).
2. Pipeline Growth: Number of active proposals submitted and corporate meetings secured per month.
3. Donor Retention: Percentage of multi-year MoU renewals by corporate partners.
4. Reporting Accuracy: 100% on-time submission of Utilization Certificates (UCs) and impact reports to corporate donors.
