About the role

- Lead and manage the complete Indian Accounting department.
- Supervise, train, and mentor accountants and senior accounting professionals.
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Review and ensure accuracy of bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Manage GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and related matters.
- Oversee TDS calculations, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
- Review monthly and annual financial statements and finalization of accounts.
- Handle multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, management reports, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external professionals.
- Establish strong accounting controls, SOPs, and review processes.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency.




- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle escalations and provide accounting guidance to the team.
- Support management in financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Take ownership of department performance, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
