Job Summary:
We are looking for a Green Tire Development / Product Engineer to support the development and industrialization of new and modified tire products. The role involves translating product and industrial performance requirements into robust manufacturing solutions while ensuring quality, standardization, cost, and time-to-market objectives are achieved.
The position will work closely with R&D;, manufacturing plants, process engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve product and manufacturing issues, manage industrialization projects, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-design and develop cured tire models in line with product and industrial requirements.
- Lead or participate in R2 and R3 risk analysis for complex tire development and industrialization projects.
- Support the industrialization of new and complex tire architectures.
- Provide necessary technical information related to mold external geometry and venting.
- Conduct green tire studies adapted to manufacturing plant processes.
- Develop and provide technical specifications and requirements for production shops.
- Analyze industrialization loops and provide technical reports and recommendations.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing plants for problem-solving and production issues.
- Manage tire model/product evolution during industrialization.
- Identify, capture, synthesize, and share best practices across the organization.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Provide training and technical support to Green Tire teams.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Green Tire personnel.
- Participate in the co-design of new products, processes, methods, and materials.
- Manage assigned development and industrialization projects and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to resolve manufacturing and design issues.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Product Development, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Plant teams.

- Robust tire designs meeting requirements for architecture, quality, standardization, cost, and timing.
- Effective quality planning and R2/R3 risk management for complex architectures.
- Successful industrialization of new and modified tire products.
- Timely resolution of manufacturing and design-related issues.
- Effective plant support during product industrialization and production.
- Successful execution of assigned projects and project milestones.

Candidate Profile:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Manufacturing / Polymer / Tire Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience in tire development, green tire development, product industrialization, manufacturing, or automotive/tire R&D; will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of tire/product development and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of green tire construction, tire architecture, molds, venting, and industrialization will be an advantage.
- Experience in root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with R&D;, manufacturing plants, process engineering, and quality teams.
- Robust focus on quality, cost, performance, standardization, and time-to-market.
