About Vaignya Research Foundation
Vaignya Research Foundation is a women's wellness–focused research and outreach organization working at the intersection of reproductive health, genetics, and clinical collaboration. The Foundation focuses on advancing women's healthcare through medical conferences, clinician partnerships, academic collaborations, and community outreach initiatives — including Sanjay Drishti, Teens-2-Queens (T2Q), its flagship community health drive — while promoting awareness and access to advanced genetic diagnostics.
Role Overview The Graphic Design & Video Editing Intern will work closely with the core team on all visual and video collateral for T2Q community health drives — from pre-event invitations and social creatives to post-event highlight reels — and on building VRF's first formal brand kit. This role is designed for individuals with a solid design sensibility and video editing ability, and requires ownership of the full creative pipeline from brief to final asset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Collateral Design
- Invitations (print & digital), ID/volunteer badges, posters, social media posts and banners
- Certificate and presentation templates
2. Social & Digital Content
- Social creatives for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp
- Visuals to accompany press releases and LinkedIn posts
3. Video Editing
- Highlight reels,
social-ready clips and recap videos from raw event footage
- Marketing creatives
4. Brand Kit Development
- Logo suite, colour palette, typography and imagery style guidelines
- Ready-to-use templates for social, badges, certificates and presentations
5. Coordination & Turnaround
- Work with a small on-ground team remotely against pre-event and post-event deadlines
6. Brand Consistency
- Maintain consistency across VRF, T2Q and partner/sponsor logos on every asset
Qualifications & Skills
- Interest in branding and creative design
- Working knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve)
- Good understanding of graphic design fundamentals
- Eye for clean, accessible, low-literacy-friendly design
- Some exposure to brand systems (style guides, template libraries) is a plus, not required
- Independent working capability
