Role Description The Graphic Design Faculty role is a full-time, on-site position based at Arena Animation in Kozhikode. The faculty member will deliver classroom and lab-based instruction in graphic design concepts, tools, and workflows, ensuring that learners gain practical, portfolio-ready skills aligned with industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related tools, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring students on projects.

The role also involves updating course materials,



staying current with design trends and techniques, collaborating with other faculty on curriculum development, and supporting student placements and career guidance activities.

Qualifications

- Strong graphic design skills, including visual communication, layout, typography, and branding.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience creating digital assets for web, social media, and multimedia platforms.
- Ability to design and deliver structured lessons, workshops, and project-based learning.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience in design or related disciplines is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional graphic design work and familiarity with current design trends.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a closely related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams and support student success and placement initiatives.
