We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and deployment of scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will work closely with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams to modernize applications, drive cloud migration strategies, and optimize cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and deployment of scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

- Cloud Architecture Design: End-to-end design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure GCP solutions based on business requirements.
- Cloud Migration & Modernization: Lead application, database, and infrastructure migrations from on-premises or other public clouds (AWS/Azure) to GCP.
- Security & Governance: Implement industry-standard security frameworks, IAM policies, networking strategies (VPCs, Firewalls, Interconnect), and compliance controls.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate environment provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Support build and deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Cost Optimization: Conduct ongoing infrastructure reviews to optimize cloud architecture for cost, performance, and operational efficiency.




- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a technical authority, translating business requirements into clear technical roadmaps and architectural diagrams.

Qualifications

- Experience: 8+ years in IT infrastructure/software design, with at least 4+ years as a dedicated GCP Solution Architect.
- Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is strongly preferred.

Required Skills

- Core GCP Skills: Deep hands-on proficiency in GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, VPC networking, Cloud IAM, and Cloud Storage.
- Automation & DevOps: Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Networking & Security: Solid understanding of hybrid connectivity (VPN/Direct Interconnect), microservices architectures, zero-trust security model, and IAM fine-grained access.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with cross-functional technical teams and executive stakeholders.
