Golf Course Seasonal Positions

Nephi is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for seasonal positions at Canyon Hills Golf Course. These posiitons include GROUND MAINTENANCE and PRO SHOP STAFF.

Qualifications

- Customer service: friendly, welcoming demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual,



and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of golf is helpful but not required

Miscellaneous Information GROUNDS MAINTENANCE: Responsible for performing tasks associated with the daily maintenance of the golf course, associated grounds and project implementation.
- Bunker maintenance
- Golf course set up: cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling and ball marks
- Operate mowing equipment: greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Complies with golf course etiquette rules, uphold and maintain course expectations
- This position reports to the course superintendent PRO SHOP STAFF: Responsible for performing tasks associated with assisting golfers. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Customer service and check-in, POS and handling cash
- Tee time and pace management
- Cart operations, clean, stage and have carts ready for play
- Range Balls; pick and clean
- Facility maintenance: Pro shop, restrooms, cart barn and surrounding areas
- This position reports to the Office Manager
