About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Golang Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance backend systems. The role requires strong expertise in Golang, distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will lead engineering teams, define solution architectures, mentor developers, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise-grade applications.

What You'll Do:

- We are seeking an experienced Development Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services built using Golang.
- The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, team mentoring, architecture ownership, and predictable product delivery across the software lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate has strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and production-grade engineering.
- The person should be comfortable translating business requirements into sound technical solutions and driving execution across cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Architecture Lead a team of backend developers and own end-to-end delivery of complex software capabilities.
- Define solution architecture and design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance backend systems.
- Drive technical decisions, design reviews, code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and engineering standards. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, UX, and customer stakeholders to align scope, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
- Identify technical risks early and establish pragmatic mitigation plans. Backend Engineering Design and develop RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and backend components using Golang.
- Build and maintain microservices and event-driven applications. Apply effective concurrency patterns using goroutines, channels, synchronization, context, and cancellation.
- Optimize database design, query performance, caching, and data-processing workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues,



lead root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
- Delivery Engineering Governance Own technical planning, estimation, sprint commitments, and delivery execution.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Track technical dependencies, quality risks, non-functional requirements, and technical debt.
- Drive CI/CD, test automation, observability, security scanning, and release-readiness practices.
- Ensure compliance with coding, quality, security, performance, documentation, and review standards. Use engineering metrics to improve predictability, quality, and operational reliability.
- People Leadership Mentor developers in system design, coding practices, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and support capability and career development. Participate in hiring, technical interviews, onboarding, and competency development.
- Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Required Technical Skills Skill Area Expected Proficiency Golang Strong hands-on development; idiomatic Go; goroutines, channels, interfaces, context, error handling, profiling, memory management, and performance optimization.
- API Services RESTful APIs, gRPC, service contracts, versioning, authentication, authorization, validation, and backward compatibility.
- Architecture Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, design patterns, resiliency, high availability, and scalability.
- Data Stores Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server; experience with Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or equivalent NoSQL technologies.
- Messaging Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Azure Service Bus, AWS messaging services, or equivalent asynchronous integration platforms.




- Cloud Containers AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker; Kubernetes; configuration, secrets, deployment, and scaling practices. DevOps Quality Git, CI/CD, unit and integration testing, code quality gates, vulnerability scanning, infrastructure automation, and release management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Advanced degrees (M.Tech/MS) in Software Systems, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering are preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Software Architecture, System Design, Embedded Systems, or Cloud Technologies will be an added advantage.
