Senior GoLang Backend Developer

Location: Bangalore Experience Range- 5-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GoLang Backend Developer to design, develop,

and deliver scalable, cloud-native backend services on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Go (GoLang), microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native application development. This role requires hands-on experience in building secure, high-performance distributed systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, cloud infrastructure, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices. Experience with frontend technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Go (GoLang).
- Develop and enhance secure RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
- Build cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.
- Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures for distributed systems.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases,



implementing efficient data models and ORM frameworks.
- Build, deploy, and manage applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

- Strong proficiency in Go (GoLang).
- Solid understanding of concurrent programming and Go routines.

- Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs

Database Technologies

- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in backend software development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend engineer with deep expertise in GoLang, AWS, and microservices, capable of building secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud applications. Experience in authentication frameworks, CI/CD, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure is essential, while frontend exposure is considered an added advantage.
