Role Purpose:

The Global Medical CRM Lead owns the vision, roadmap, and execution of CRM initiatives that strengthen scientific engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and improve the reach and quality of medical and patient-support programs. This is a Medical Affairs role- the focus is on non-promotional scientific exchange, and medical education, operating under strict medical–commercial separation and a compliance-led model.

Based in Bangalore, the role partners with Field Medical (MSLs), Medical Information, Medical Communications, Compliance, Data Privacy, and Technology teams to design CRM-driven HCP engagement, segment scientific audiences, and operationalize compliant interactions through the CRM. You will translate medical-strategy needs into scalable CRM capabilities, define success metrics aligned to medical objectives, and drive continuous improvement through experimentation and insight.

The role requires strong cross-functional stakeholder management, deep regulatory fluency, and hands-on leadership to deliver measurable impact across brands and therapy areas. Experience in pharma Medical Affairs or another regulated, compliance-intensive environment is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:





Strategy & Roadmap

- Own the Medical CRM vision, multi-year roadmap, and quarterly execution plans, aligned to global and regional medical strategy.
- Translate medical-strategy priorities into scalable CRM/MarTech capabilities and a prioritized backlog of user stories.

Engagement Design

- Design CRM-driven HCP engagement journeys and field medical (MSL) workflows.
- Define scientific audience segmentation, targeting, and personalization frameworks grounded in medical relevance and HCP preference.
- Configure CRM cadence and content rules that support a coherent, compliant HCP experience within Medical Affairs.

Measurement & Optimization

- Establish medical-appropriate KPIs, dashboards, and measurement methodology
- Run controlled experiments and optimization cycles to improve engagement quality and CRM effectiveness.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure full compliance with data privacy, consent management, and applicable medical/regulatory and non-promotional requirements.
- Uphold medical–commercial separation in all data, content, and journey design decisions.
- Document governance models, SOPs, RACI, and best practices

Platform & Delivery

- Partner with Data and Technology teams on CRM platform capabilities, data governance, integration, and compliant execution.
- Support CRM platform evolution and migration efforts (e.g., Veeva to Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud), including local business requirements, field requirements, territory/alignment models, and consent design.




- Drive adoption among field medical and medical operations teams through enablement, training, and change management.

Vendor & Program Management

- Manage vendor, agency, and SI partners, and delivery timelines.
- Run the program with agile delivery discipline from discovery through release and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading CRM strategy in pharma, healthcare, or another regulated industry- ideally within Medical Affairs.
- Practical fluency with CRM/MarTech platforms used in life sciences (e.g., Veeva CRM/Vault, Salesforce / Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, or comparable).
- Strong understanding of HCP engagement, consent management, and the regulatory and privacy landscape governing medical/non-promotional communication.
- Proven analytics mindset: KPI definition, attribution, dashboarding, and experimentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management across Medical, Compliance, Data, and Technology, with strong communication and narrative-building skills.
- Project/program management capability and experience with agile delivery.

Preferred Qualifications :

- MBA or relevant Master's degree.
- Prior Medical Affairs, Field Medical (MSL) operations, or Medical Digital experience.
- Familiarity with medical–commercial separation requirements and pharmacovigilance/adverse-event handling in digital channels.
- Certifications in CRM/MarTech, analytics, or agile/product management.
- Experience with CRM migration or platform consolidation programs.
