Company Description Ecomine is a DPIIT-recognized deep-tech startup transforming mineral exploration in India through advanced geospatial and AI technologies. Its flagship platform, Spectropy, is a proprietary AI/ML prediction engine that integrates hyperspectral satellite imagery, hyperspectral drill-core analysis, and multiple geophysical datasets into a unified subsurface intelligence layer. Using spectral unmixing, geophysical inversion, and deep-learning models tailored to Indian terrains, Spectropy generates high-confidence mineral prospectivity maps from surface to drill depth.
Ecomine replaces fragmented, costly exploration workflows with a data-driven, physics-informed approach that guides geologists on where to drill and the rationale behind each decision. The team focuses on innovation, efficiency, and accuracy in exploration to support sustainable resource development.
Role Description The GIS – Hyperspectral Analyst will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting the development and refinement of subsurface intelligence products within the Spectropy platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing, analyzing, and interpreting hyperspectral satellite and drill-core data, integrating these datasets with geophysical and GIS layers, and creating high-quality mineral prospectivity maps and spatial models. The Analyst will design and execute workflows for spectral analysis, data cleaning, and geospatial visualization, collaborating with data scientists, geophysicists, and exploration geologists to translate technical outputs into actionable insights.
The role also involves maintaining organized geospatial databases, documenting methodologies, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytical tools and processes to enhance prediction accuracy and usability for end users.
