About the Role

Soul Benefit Herbals is looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to take overall responsibility for business operations, manufacturing coordination, client management, business development, team management, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Ayurvedic, herbal, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, FMCG, or contract manufacturing, with the ability to independently manage multiple departments and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Operations Management

- Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing unit.
- Coordinate between Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Accounts, HR, Dispatch, and Business Development.
- Ensure smooth and timely execution of production and customer orders.
- Establish systems, processes, targets, and accountability across departments.
- Monitor operational efficiency, productivity, wastage, and costs.

1. Business Development & Client Management

- Develop new B2B clients for Ayurvedic, herbal, nutraceutical, and private-label manufacturing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term business accounts.
- Handle client negotiations, quotations, commercial discussions, and order finalization.
- Develop strategies to increase monthly and annual sales.
- Identify new markets, products, and business opportunities.

1. Production & Planning

- Coordinate production planning according to confirmed orders and delivery schedules.




- Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of batches.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and manufacturing capacity.

1. Purchase, Inventory & Cost Control

- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid unnecessary stock accumulation.
- Control manufacturing and operational costs.
- Review material consumption, wastage, and production efficiency.

1. Team & People Management

- Lead and manage departmental heads and key employees.
- Set performance targets and review team performance.
- Improve employee productivity, discipline, and accountability.
- Participate in recruitment and development of key personnel.
- Create a professional, performance-oriented work culture.

1. Compliance & Quality Coordination

- Ensure operations are carried out according to applicable GMP, regulatory, quality, and company requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and regulatory teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to SOPs.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.

1. Management Reporting

- Prepare and present regular reports on:

- Sales and business development

- Production

- Order status

- Inventory

- Receivables

- Expenses

- Profitability

- Manpower

- Overall business performance
- Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations.

Candidate Profile We are looking for a mature,



result-oriented and highly responsible professional who can take ownership of the business and work closely with the management.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in Ayurvedic manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, nutraceuticals, herbal products, FMCG, private-label manufacturing, or third-party manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience in handling B2B clients, distributors, marketing companies, private-label brands, and contract manufacturing business will be an added advantage.
