GCP Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Platform Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud computing principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP

- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Python and GCP services

- Configure and manage Compute Engine instances, Cloud Storage (GCS), and Dataproc clusters

- Implement Cloud Composer workflows and monitor them using Cloud Monitoring

- Manage IAM roles and permissions to ensure secure access to GCP resources

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications





- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in GCP Platform Engineering

- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and GCP services

- Proficiency in Python programming language

- Experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Monitoring

- Knowledge of IAM and Linux operating systems

- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred
