Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer / Functional Tester with 5+ years of experience in Manual Functional Testing, Database Testing, API Testing, Power BI Testing and Integration Testing.

The candidate will work on data-focused banking applications involving databases, ETL/data pipelines, APIs, interfaces and Power BI reports. Experience in Banking/BFSI is mandatory, while Wealth Management experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and execute functional and non-functional test cases.
- Perform Manual Functional, Database, API, Integration and End-to-End Testing.
- Create test scenarios for database queries, Power BI reports, interface flows and API calls.
- Prepare test data and execute test cases for complex applications.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries, joins, aggregations and data validations.
- Test REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger or SoapUI.
- Perform System Integration Testing and End-to-End testing across applications.
- Validate Power BI dashboards, reports and data models,



including data accuracy, mappings, calculations and formatting.
- Perform data validation for ETL/Data Pipelines such as NIFI.
- Identify and execute regression test cases.
- Perform defect reporting, tracking, RCA and defect pattern analysis.
- Prepare and share testing reports, DSR, RCA and testing metrics with Test Leads/Managers.
- Maintain test cases and test execution results in HP ALM / Quality Center / ALM Octane.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives.
- Work closely with BAs, developers, application teams and other technical stakeholders.
- Support automation activities and maintain automation scripts where required.
- Manage testing activities across multiple concurrent projects.
