LumiJobs is looking for a detail-oriented QA / Testing Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for testing our AI-powered career platform, finding issues before they reach users, and helping ensure a reliable and high-quality product.

You will work closely with developers and the founding team to test new features, identify bugs, and maintain product quality across different browsers and devices.

Responsibilities

- Test web applications thoroughly, including both normal user flows and edge cases.
- Create and execute structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with explicit and reproducible steps.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Write automated browser tests using Playwright for critical user flows.
- Test important features such as signup, login, user profiles, job applications, feeds, and payments.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Use browser Developer Tools to investigate and reproduce issues.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Maintain testing documentation and test results.
- Work with developers to understand and resolve reported issues.
- Participate in release testing and act as a quality check before deployment.
- Help improve the overall testing process and product quality.

Required Skills




- 2–4 years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of web application testing.
- Experience with functional and regression testing.
- Ability to create clear test cases and bug reports.
- Basic knowledge of browsers and browser Developer Tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify edge cases and think from a user's perspective.
- Basic understanding of software development and web technologies.
