We are looking for passionate professionals to join our network as Freelance Self-Learning Support Coaches.

Role OverviewAs a Self-Learning Support Coach, you will guide learners rather than simply teach them.

You will help learners understand what skills they need for their desired career or job role, identify suitable learning resources, create a structured self-learning roadmap, support their practice, and help them stay focused until they become more job-ready.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy mentoring, coaching, researching, explaining, and helping others learn independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand a learner's career goal, current skill level, and learning requirements.
- Identify the practical skills required for a specific job role or industry.
- Create short-term, customised self-learning roadmaps.
- Recommend suitable learning resources, tools, projects, documentation, courses, and practice materials.
- Break complex subjects into simple, achievable learning milestones.
- Conduct regular online guidance or mentoring sessions.
- Help learners develop practical projects and hands-on experience.
- Encourage repeated practice and application of concepts.
- Review learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Help learners identify knowledge and skill gaps.
- Guide learners in building job-ready portfolios, projects, resumes, and professional profiles where relevant.




- Introduce learners to appropriate AI tools and modern learning methods where applicable.
- Keep learning plans aligned with current industry expectations.
- Coordinate with BUYE-Online's academic and industry network when specialised expertise is required.
- Maintain basic progress records and provide learner feedback to BUYE-Online.
- Support learners in preparing for practical skill assessments or industry evaluation.

Important: This Is Not a Traditional Teaching RoleWe are not primarily looking for lecturers or classroom teachers. Our ideal coach should be able to say:

"Here is the skill you need. Here is what you should learn first. Here is how you can practise it. Here is a project you can build. Here is how you can evaluate yourself.
