About the Prospect : Gen AI / Voice AI —Enterprise Deployments

Nexus Point HR is mandated to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer for a fast-growing enterprise AI company building production-grade Gen AI and Voice AI solutions for large clients. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, AI, and customer delivery — you will design, build, and support integrations between the client's platform and enterprise systems, working directly on live deployments that move real business KPIs. Client identity is shared with shortlisted candidates at the interview stage.

Role Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work across APIs, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks to deliver intelligent, reliable, production-grade integrations for enterprise clients — owning delivery from requirements gathering through production stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, WebSockets, and webhooks
- Build and deploy solutions on cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure)
- Integrate with AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI, or similar SDKs to build reliable, production-grade AI agents and workflows
- Design AI-powered workflows that translate customer requirements into technical implementations — including tool/function calling, prompt design, and structured outputs
- Debug production issues across application, infrastructure, model, and integration layers using logs, metrics, and observability tools




- Collaborate with client and internal teams on deployment, debugging, and optimization
- Automate, document, and maintain integration workflows and observability
- Improve measurable business KPIs — conversion, automation rate, latency, completion rate — in partnership with client stakeholders
- Communicate technical issues and trade-offs clearly to customers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

- Hands-on experience in Python or Java for backend and integration development
- Mandatory hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
- Strong understanding of web technologies, REST APIs, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT)
- Working experience with AI/LLM ecosystems — prompt engineering, agent/tool-calling design, or LangChain-style orchestration
- Practical exposure to taking an AI solution from prototype to live production deployment, including post-launch monitoring and reliability
- Experience gathering and translating customer/business requirements into technical workflows or agent designs
- Excellent problem-solving ability and client-facing communication skills

Good to Have

- Experience with telephony and real-time communication — SIP, WebRTC, Twilio, Avaya, Ubona
- Familiarity with Postman, Wireshark, or observability/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or forward-deployed engineering role, owning delivery end-to-end
