Kyndryl is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to solve complex enterprise AI challenges in direct partnership with customers. The role blends engineering, consulting, and product collaboration to deliver production-ready AI solutions with measurable business impact.

Role: Forward Deployed Engineer

Experience

- 3-6 years of relevant IT experience
- At least 1 year in Agentic AI Frameworks, orchestration, and deployment
- At least 2 years on GenAI solutions
- Strong programming expertise in Python
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks, cloud, and consulting
- Experience designing, building, or integrating multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks
- Practical knowledge of deploying RAG architectures and integrating knowledge sources
- Solid grasp of software delivery lifecycle, Git, GitHub, Pandas, and Spark
- Experience with cloud AI platforms and distributed computing architectures
- Knowledge of system-level optimisation and security best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required

Qualification

- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

- Partner with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into fit-for-purpose technical solutions




- Build and iterate custom AI solutions using agentic AI frameworks
- Own delivery end to end from scoping to production
- Work as part of the customer team to engineer and deploy production-ready solutions
- Troubleshoot and improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Capture deployment learnings and document best practices
- Share insights to inform enhancements to AI platforms and frameworks
- Adapt quickly to emerging technologies and changing customer requirements
- Contribute feedback and code to AI platforms in collaboration with product teams
- Communicate technical value to diverse stakeholders, including executive audiences

- Operate within the triad delivery model combining engineering, consulting, and product expertise
- Work in dynamic environments and often on-site with customer teams
- Focus on outcomes and business value, not just code
- Support adoption and measurable business outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development

- Familiarity with Hugging Face and community-driven AI repositories
