About the Role

Varistor Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Service Engineer to join the Variex team. The role is ideal for technically skilled candidates who enjoy hands-on field work and customer interaction.

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, inspection, servicing, refilling, maintenance and troubleshooting of fire safety equipment, primarily at customer locations.Freshers with a Diploma, ITI or certification in Fire & Safety, Electrical, Mechanical or related technical fields are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive product and technical training will be provided.Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, service and maintain Variex fire safety equipment at customer locations.

Carry out fire extinguisher refilling, pressure checks, servicing and basic troubleshooting as per company procedures.

- Conduct preventive maintenance and identify equipment requiring repair or replacement.
- Perform installation and servicing activities at commercial, industrial and residential sites.
- Use appropriate tools and testing equipment for inspection and maintenance.
- Identify technical issues and provide appropriate solutions at site.
- Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records and job completion documentation.
- Coordinate with the internal service and operations teams regarding schedules, spare parts and customer requirements.
- Explain product usage, maintenance procedures and basic fire safety practices to customers whenever required.




- Maintain qualified communication and build positive relationships with customers.
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards and site-specific safety requirements.
- Ensure tools, equipment, spare parts and materials provided for field work are handled responsibly.
- Report recurring technical issues and provide suggestions for improving service quality.
- Complete assigned service jobs within the expected timelines.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

- Candidates with any of the following backgrounds are preferred:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
- ITI – Fitter / Electrician / Welder or related technical trade
- Diploma / Certificate in Fire & Safety
- Candidates with relevant technical certifications

Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply.

1+ year of experience in fire safety, field service, equipment maintenance or technical support will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work with hand tools and basic testing instruments.
- Basic knowledge of equipment installation and maintenance.
- Ability to understand technical instructions, drawings or equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment is an advantage.
- Fire & Safety industry experience will be an added advantage.
